Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the website design, build and hosting service provided by Text A Site Ltd (“Text A Site”, “we”, “us”). By signing up you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

What we provide

We build you a professional website, host it, and make changes to it on your instruction (by text, WhatsApp or email). The £25/month covers hosting, a domain, and unlimited reasonable changes to your existing site, normally actioned within one working day.

“Reasonable changes” means edits to your content - text, photos, contact details, services, and similar. Larger pieces of work (for example additional pages or a full redesign) may be agreed separately. We may decline requests that are unlawful, offensive, or outside the spirit of the service.

The free build

We currently build your initial website at no charge. There is no setup fee. The only charge is the £25/month subscription, which starts when your site is ready to go live and you have confirmed you want it published.

Payment

The subscription is £25 per month including VAT where applicable, billed monthly in advance via our payment provider. If a payment fails, we will let you know and may pause the service until it is resolved. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice; you can cancel before any change takes effect.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, with no notice period and no cancellation fee, by texting or emailing us. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Your content and ownership

You own the content you give us (your text, photos, logo and business details) and you keep ownership of it. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us. While you are subscribed, we grant you the right to use the website we build for you. The underlying templates and code remain ours. If you cancel, you may ask us for an export of your content.

Domains

Where we register or manage a domain on your behalf as part of the service, we do so for you while you are subscribed. If you already own a domain, you keep it. We will help you take a domain with you where it is reasonable and lawful to do so.

Availability

We aim to keep your site online and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, as hosting depends on third parties. We are not liable for downtime outside our reasonable control.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will let you know. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
