Cancellation & Refund Policy

We promise “cancel anytime” on every letter and on our pricing, and we mean it. This page spells out exactly what that means.

How to cancel

Just tell us. Text or WhatsApp 07367 103407, or email hello@textasite.co.uk, and say you want to cancel. There is no form to fill in, no phone menu, and no “retention” runaround. We will confirm by reply.

No notice period, no fees

There is no minimum term, no notice period, and no cancellation fee. Because the website build is free, you owe nothing for the work if you cancel - there is no clawback.

What happens to your site

Your site stays live until the end of the month you have already paid for. After that we take it down cleanly. If you would like a copy of your content before it comes down, just ask and we will send it over.

Refunds

The £25 monthly fee is billed in advance for the month ahead. If you cancel partway through a paid month, your site keeps running until the end of that month and you are not charged again - we do not charge for time you have not used going forward.

If something has genuinely gone wrong - for example you were charged after cancelling, or billed in error - contact us and we will put it right and refund any mistaken charge promptly.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you signed up at a distance and have a cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, that still applies; note that if you ask us to start work (build and publish your site) during any cooling-off period, you may be charged for work already done up to the point you cancel - and since the build is free, that charge is normally nil.
